The Bumble Bees environment includes;

Messy Play area for sand & water play and creative activities

Quiet area for circle time, looking at books and rest times

Construction and loose parts (large and small)

Small world play

Role play

We place great emphasis on personal and social skills , helping children to foster friendships and build on their confidence and self esteem, through praise, encouragement and staff modelling of preferred behaviour.

We have a great focus on the familiarity of daily routines and are beginning to develop children’s awareness of toileting. We have a separate changing area, and work together with parents / carers when children are learning to use the toilet. We ask you to complete a Care Sheet for your child when starting in the Bumble Bees Room.

We provide sleep mats and bedding for those children who still have a sleep during the day.
