Ladybirds
Staff within our Ladybirds room provide a safe, caring and homely atmosphere; the design of the room is to reflect some elements of the home environment e.g. rugs and soft furnishing.
Our Ladybird’s timetables and routines are flexible to suit the children within our care. We ask you to complete a care sheet during the initial visit, which includes details of sleep and feeding times. Our Ladybird’s room has a separate adjoining baby change area. We have a cot and sleep ‘mats’ so your child can sleep undisturbed. We provide cots, sleep mats, bedding and prams. Your child’s day at nursery will be documented and fed back to you at the end of the day.
We encourage babies development through activities that emphasise exploration, sensory experiences, play and lots of verbal interaction as well as lots of opportunities for outdoor activities, gaining experiences for later learning. The Ladybird’s staff focus planning around the foundations of learning; Personal, Social and Emotional; Communication & Language; and Physical development.
The children are taken outside as often as possible, to play in our enclosed outdoor play area.
